The media conglomerate as we know it today has become a drama based spigot of half truths and spins. Thank goodness for the internet and the onslaught of fresh news the way it used to be. It's not who's right or wrong but what's right or wrong (Geoff Metcalf quote). My introduction to alternative news began with Rush Limbaugh. Albeit he's mainstream now he still presents ideas and arguments that you will not find on TV. In the same way that the slanted newspapers and television stations have spurred on this alternative news wave, San Francisco's and for that matter California's extreme naiveity and constant emoting has lead to one of the fastest growing AM stations on the dial "Hot Talk" 560 KSFO. Rush Limbaugh came out of Sacramento, California and now KSFO has given birth to another voice Michael Savage. Their voices, amid the mantra and talking notes of the alphabet stations, sound of a calmer and more disciplined mind. One not just of emotions but of logic, facts, and ideas. Ideas founded in the heart and soul of what America means and is ... hard working, devoted, driven, passionate people with the independence of one's own mind and god united by the common good and goal of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
